Mary Kay TimeWise Age-Fighting Moisturizer (Normal/Dry Skin)ReviewsThis is nice! You don't need much, and it works! Thanks Amazon for making this product available. I'm 24 and have used Neutrogena's regular face moisturizer for the last 12 years. During winters, I've fought with flaking on my upper cheeks and lower forehead, applying several times a day, and using an ancient Bath & Body Works day/night mask. My friend highly recommended this Mary Kay product--she happily switched from Neutrogena--and gave it to me for Christmas. Initially I was put off by the chemical smell (familiar to many "age-fighting" creams), and after dries on my face, it gives a dry, cracking feeling. (Also I don't want to become dependent on age creams at such a young age--my skin is great, thanks to using Retin-A for acne for 10 years, & not sunbathing.) Over one month slowly began to peel worse than before. Now whole sheets are coming off. A friend suggested this could be due to the age-fighting chemicals shedding "dead" skin, but I'm not happy with flakes and sheets of skin everywhere--including my clothes. I must give one plus, though: no SPF! Therefore no sunscreen smell, and it allows me to convert the Vit D in my skin during the short times I have outside. I continue to search store shelves high and low for no SPF--and no ageless chemicals. One reason that this product probably doesn't work is because it is more than likely expired. These products are not suposed to be sold on the internet just for that reason, you don't know what you are getting. If you buy from a Mary Kay consultant you will get a 100% guarantee, if you don't like something for any reason you can get your money back or a replacement with something else. Besides this takes away from the consultants trying to make a living. I love this moisturizer! It was originally given to me as a sample and I had never used Mary Kay products before. It is light enough to wear under my makeup and absorbs quickly. I'm only 26 so I only had laugh lines and just a few fine lines starting near my eyes and all of those have almost completely vanished. I can see a difference in my face. I don't think I will ever buy another moisturizer other than this one. I used to use the Mary Kay moisturizer 2, but when I couldn't find anywhere to get that anymore I purchased this. I was dissapointed with this in comparison. It leaves my face feeling tacky an doesn't seem to absorb all of the way. When I go to wash my face hours later, the remainder washes off. I find that is seems rather thick and makes my skin more oily. Average Rating:![]() |

Mary Kay TimeWise 3-In-1 Cleanser (Combination/Oily Skin)ReviewsTo whom this may concern. I found all my items on there but the cost of Shipping & Handling was horrible..How can one be charged $4.95 each item and on one item I paid as much as if I had bought it from the company. My Bella cologne was horrible.Smell is short term and It seems watered down. Sincerely Joyce Anderson Item arrived a bit later than the estimated time, but overall, seller is very helpful. Bought the Cleanser but the seller had run out of the product. Received refund immediately. I use this product and it works wonderfully. I have used several facial cleansing products, ex Clinic, Neutragena, Dermatologica... I found this one which does the best. I have used this product for years and swear by it. It really helps my face to be moisturized and I have no wrinkles yet. Very nice, smells wonderful and immediately after use my skin is very soft and delicate feeling. Focus on Teaching Skin Care. A Step By Step Approach to Building Your Business. One Video & One Audio. |
The original nine skin care products were based upon a recipe from a tanner, allegedly whose skin was much smoother, and clearer than his age would indicate. In the United States, roughly 200 products are currently available. In other countries, fewer products are available, because they are reformulated to meet local laws or, more commonly, consumer preferences. For example, Asian makeup is sometimes much whiter than European makeup. African (the continent) makeup has traditionally been more ochre than European makeup.
Some products, such as Mary Kay Whitener, are created for a specific country, or geographic region. Other products, such as the Mary Kay Limited Edition, are created to reflect seasonal changes.
In the early 1990s, recognizing that the majority of both its customers and consultants were women of color, Mary Kay introduced colors that were more suitable for that market.
PETA celebrated a semi-victory in the cosmetics industry in 1989, when Mary Kay Cosmetics announced a moratorium on animal testing. The sought-for victory --- fur coats are not prizes --- came in 1996, when Mary Kay stopped offering fur coats as incentive awards for its sales force . The final push may have been a series of embarrassing cartoons that appeared in newspapers across the country in the years immediately preceding the ban. In 1989 they were published in The Night of the Mary Kay Commandos by Berke Breathed. A famous line from the book reads Even their Uzis are pink.
In 1995, to adhere to the laws of The People's Republic of China, Mary Kay opened a plant in Hangzhou to manufacture and package products. A European plant was opened in 1997, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, to serve the European market but was closed in 2003.
In 2005, wholesale sales of Mary Kay products to the consultants exceeded $2.2 billion. This $2.2 billion figure does not account for products returned by consultants to the company.
