Estee Lauder Eye Creme
Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. is one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of skin care, cosmetics, perfume and hair care products.
The company began in 1946, when Joseph Lauder and wife Estée Lauder began producing cosmetics in New York City, New York. At first, they only had four products: super rich all purpose cream, creme pack, cleansing oil and skin lotion. Two years later, they established their first department store account with Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
Over the next fifteen years, they expanded the range and continued to sell their products in the United States. In 1960, the company went international. Its first international account was in the London department store Harrods. The following year, it opened an office in Hong Kong.
In 1964, they started Aramis Inc., which produced fragrances and grooming products for men. In 1967, Estée Lauder was rewarded for her efforts by being named one of ten Outstanding Women in Business in the United States by business and financial editors. This was followed by a Spirit of Achievement Award from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in 1968. In that year, the company expanded again, opening Clinique Laboratories, Inc. Clinique was the first dermatologist guided, allergy tested, fragrance free cosmetic brand created by Estée Lauder.
Estée Lauder's Clinique brand became the first women's cosmetic company to introduce a second line for men when, in 1976, they began a separate line called "Skin Supplies for Men". In 1981, the company achieved another breakthrough when their products became available in the Soviet Union.
Estée Lauder now sells its products in department stores across the world, as well as having a chain of freestanding retail outlets. It employs over 20,000 people, and in 2003, its sales topped $5 billion. In February 2004, the company's teen-oriented jane business was sold; in April 2006, the professional-quality Stila brand, which Estée Lauder purchased in 1999, was sold.
The company has been known for its sometimes iconic spokesmodels, sometimes referred to simply as 'faces'. Past 'faces' for Estée Lauder include Karen Graham, Bruce Boxleitner, Shaun Casey, Willow Bay and Paulina Porizkova. Currently, the public spokesmodels for Estée Lauder are actress Gwyneth Paltrow, supermodels Hilary Rhoda and Carolyn Murphy, and model Elizabeth Hurley.

Estee Lauder Hydra Complete Multi-Level Moisture CremeReviewsI absolutely love this stuff. I have terrible dry skin. I've been used to haveing to repeatedly reapply my moisturizers during the day. Not with this stuff. The moisturizer stays on the face all day long and makes it feel baby soft. Even my husband has noticed a differance. My little girl now comes up and pats my face while telling me how soft it is. You can't put a price on that! Thank You EL! I received a smaple size of this face creme with my recent order of my hunny's anniversary present from Estee Lauder. It came with a bunch of other stuff that I either swapped or gave away, but this was a real winner for me. It came as a 5-day supply, and I just wish I had more. I used this creme as a supplement to other lotions I wasn't thrilled with, namely, Neutrogena Whip Moisturizer with SPF 15 or 30, and Clinique Super City Block SPF 40(but I'm still undecided about this one). Both of these weren't smooth enough. they didn't have that nice slip to spread easily across the skin. The former I had to use a lot of on its owen to really moisturize the lower half of my face, and the latter I had to rub very hard in order to get it to spread without this creme. I love that this creme gets the job done. Out of all the moisturizers I have used for my face, I have had to use this one the most sparingly in order to moisturize, and I like that. I can imagine it coests more than the other two moisturizers, but it also does a better job. I don't like that when I first put it on, it seems to warm up my face a bit around the nose and mouth. Ordinarily this wouldn't bother me, but seeing as to how almost every other thing has been breaking me out recently, it makes me a teensy bit paranoid. Howver, this sensation does not persist, so I don't worry too much about it. The other thing is that it takes alittle longer to sink into the skin, and until it does, it gives my skin the look as if I have been sweating, but then it's in and my skin just feels good. Isn't that what moisture is all about? Recommended: Yes Amount Paid (US$): gwp Skin Compatibility: Improved my skin Fragrance: Pleasing scent Average Rating:![]() |

Radiance C0-Q10 Skin Restorer Face Moisturizer Day Cream for Men & Women + Sensitive SkinReviewsRadiance day cream smells really good. I felt it smells like pineapple. Little amount of Radiance cream moisturizes my dry skin really well. Also good under foundation powder. Over all radiance product is really good and suits my skin and I have been using this product for past 6 months without any allergies or other skin troubles. I have been using this product for a number of years and love the fact that although I have very sensitive skin and have never been able to use alpha hydroxy type products, I can use this without any negative reactions (although I do use it sparingly). It keeps my very oily with a dry surface skin very smooth - even using it sparingly - and has allowed me to be able to use powdered mineral makeup. I will not be without the Radiance! The problem with this product is that it doesn't smell very good. I am not sure if it moisturizes very well b/c I hate to use due to the odor. For over 15 years I have used Dr. MacFarland's face and eye moisturizer creams and cannot rave enough about these products. My skin is very soft and supple with minimal wrinkles by the eyes....I laugh a great deal! My skin does not divulge my age and I am in my mid-forties. Thank you Dr. MacFarland for sharing your wisdom and products with the world. Average Rating:![]() |
