I bought this brush as my introduction to old school shaving. Since I was just getting started, I did not want to spend a fortune for a brush. This one fits the bill. Not expensive and does a good job. It does shed a few hairs each use, but it is still new so I don't know if this is a serious problem. Using a brush to apply a good shaving cream is the only way to go. A very enjoyable experience.

This brush is one of the cheaper ones that I have seen in the market. I have been using it for a few months. I like it mostly. Initially, I thought a lot of hairs separated from the brush, but that has slowed down now. It DOES hold more moisture and lather than a synthetic hair brush, but could hold much more. Buy it if you want a cheaper version of the badger brush OR are just starting out on the "old-school" double-edge shaving approach. Otherwise, if you consider yourself to be an expert, buy a better one

My first brush and I cannot recommend it. It builds a good lather, but won't release soap to your face. The more I used the brush the more lather it REMOVED from my face. Thoroughly disappointed! And as a previous reviewer noted... yes it stinks!

It seems a little light and moderate build quality, but it works fine and I've only lost a few hairs now and then. I make sure to rinse it thoroughly and let it dry with the bristles down and I'm confident it will last for awhile. Overall, I like it and don't regret buying it - especially at the price!

My husband recently got into "old school" shaving -- safety razor, soap in a mug, the whole nine yards. I originally got him a different brush elsewhere that was made of synthetic bristles and did the job OK, but not what he was expecting. Got him the Tweezerman, which is made with boars hair, and it made a load of difference. He absolutely loves it. Considering most boars hair brushes are upwards of $50 or more, this is an AMAZING bargain

My female friends and I really LOVE the Tweezerman products, including these Slant Tweezers. Tweezerman has really high-quality products, and they last forever. Lots, if not all, of their products have lifetime guarantees (check individual items). With regular tweezers that you buy at a discount store or a drug store, they end up being less sensitive and it takes quite a few attempts to grab the hair. That can make your frustration level really high, and you don't want to be stressed out when you're shaping your eyebrows! Anyways, in contrast to all of the other tweezers we've used, the Tweezerman brand always represents high-quality, long-lasting, reliable products, and they really come through for you on ease-of-use and precision. Highly recommend, and although I love a deal, I don't care how much Tweezerman products cost because they are worth every penny!

Bianco Brothers point tweezers were my first and only tweezers for over 10 years, until I dropped them and they broke. It took me quite a while to find a worthy replacement, and I finally did - Tweezerman Slant Tweezer! It took a bit of getting used to a slant tip, after using a pointed one for years, but once I got the hang of it, I was very happy with this product.

These are lightweight, but well made and they really work! The slant is helpful for finding those tiny hairs between eyebrows, and splinters that are barely exposed. The tight and precise closing of the tweezer ends make holding onto the hair or splinter easy. The spring action is easy and doesn't require extreme effort, and they are just generally well made.

For a guy, this Tweezerman SS Slant is the perfect tweeze for big unsteady hands. My girlfriend bought me my first pair of Tweezerman. They were black and half the size. A couple of years down the road, the slant edge became uneven, takng two or three attempts at removing unsightly stubbles around the nose where the fusion Gillette just wouldn't reach. Then, in a morning rush, I dropped them down the toilet. I needed an immediate replacement, so I hit up Amazon the same morning. I ordered two pair, sight unseen. After using them for several weeks now, I'm convinced there is no other tweeze by comparison. If you're looking for a perfect pair of large tweezers, look no further. There quality is unsurpassed and you've got to love the warranty.

I like many others can't stand white heads on my skin... having perfect skin until my mid- 20's, I hadn't realized that simply poping a white head would create a horrible red blemish on my pale ivory skin. So now with obvious big red marks on my face... and hormone changes causing mild acne.... I got this product... if anything... it's good for people like me who see a tiny bump and want to pop it... this tool helps prevent horrible red scars and help prevents picking acne that just isn't "pickable". I recommend this tool for anyone who wants a clean way to "pop" those pimples... and reduce redness scaring. P.S. For those redness scars... I recommend lemon juice(it stings really bad... but the red scars will slowly start to go away... after treat with Vitamin E oil- help healing)

very nice quality product and it works wonders on blackheads but i found not such good results on the whiteheads. also it often had to pressured to the point of hurting to work...not sure if this is user(my) fault or product. overall, glad i went through with purchase

This pore extractor works well on blackheads provided they are very mature and large. I haven't found that it works very well, if at all, for white heads. For small blackheads, you'll do more damage to your skin trying to remove them than if you just left it all alone.

I think the effectiveness of this product may depend on pore size. I have small pores and this does nothing to extract blackheads or clogged pores. Using this is painful and damaging to the skin. When I use this, I just get a huge red welt on my face from pressing very hard in an effort to get something to come out. The loops on this are broad and flat. I think that the loop covers too much surface area to apply sufficient pressure to a specific pore. I have had better results from doing the same thing with fine-tipped tweezers.

i've had a field of blackheads between my eyebrows and up into my forehead that were always very difficult to get out with my fingers. i usually did more damage than good trying to get them out. so far i've gotten rid of about 1/3 of them using this tool. heat and moisture help. for tougher ones, i rolled it back and forth a bit in my fingers so that the pressure moves from side to side. this seems to help loosen them up and push them out. i think in combo with a heat mask or a peel mask or anything else to loosen up your pores and help clean them, it will work much better.
