Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a disorder which affects the skin and joints. It commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin. The scaly patches caused by psoriasis, called psoriatic plaques, are areas of inflammation and excessive skin production. Skin rapidly accumulates at these sites and takes on a silvery-white appearance. Plaques frequently occur on the skin of the elbows and knees, but can affect any area including the scalp and genitals.
The disorder is a chronic recurring condition which varies in severity from minor localised patches to complete body coverage. Fingernails and toenails are frequently affected (psoriatic nail dystrophy) - and can be seen as an isolated finding. Psoriasis can also cause inflammation of the joints, which is known as psoriatic arthritis. Ten to fifteen percent of people with psoriasis have psoriatic arthritis.
The cause of psoriasis is not known, but it is believed to have a genetic component. Several factors are thought to aggravate psoriasis. These include stress, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking. Individuals with psoriasis may suffer from depression and loss of self-esteem. As such, quality of life is an important factor in evaluating the severity of the disease. There are many treatments available but because of its chronic recurrent nature psoriasis is a challenge to treat.

My skin looks better and I get a good nights sleep and I don't itch as much and a lot of improvements. I loved the sheets and how it helped my skin. I refer these sheets to anyone I know with eczema. I LOVE these sheets! They have allowed me to get more rest at night. I have had Psorisis for many years and these sheets feel great against my skin. I am so thankful to finally find something that helps me sleep more comfortably. My skin does not tear against these sheets. My skin looks better and I get a good nights sleep! I ordered this for my wife as she has sensitive skin and occasional eczema, but now I may have to order again for myself! I use this soap to wash my face and it feels great on my skin, without over drying. My wife however, does not use it on her face as her skin is still too sensitive. She does like it very much for a body soap. Highly recommended. 5 stars if the price was a little lower. For my little girl with eczema, this soap is wonderful. It leaves her skin soft, not too dry or greasy. It holds in the moisture while cleaning away dirt and whatever else she gets into. I will continue to use this soap as long as I can. This product is perfect for people who suffer from eczema. I have moderate eczema on my genitals and eyes, and this product completely removes the skin cracks and itchiness that can make eczema a major detriment to one's comfort. I'd recommend lathering up with this soap on the affected areas, and then using your normal soap to cover up the smell (it smells like salt). I'd recommend using Aveeno body wash in conjunction with this, as the combination both moisturizes and heals eczema. I love how this soap feels just barely exfoliating, but gentle enough to use every day, and leaves absolutely no residue on my skin.
