I have used this (and the 10%) product for the last 10 years. It is by far the best face cream I have ever used. It keeps my skin smooth and acne free. Since being without it for the last 2 months, my skin has broken out and become blotchy, HELP! In the last few years I am finding it very difficult to find in stores. The last time I found it was in April 2008 and I purchased 2 jars that lasted me just about a year. I have been searching for the last 2 months and have not been able to locate it so I just ordered it online. Thank goodness for the online site! I can't wait to begin my daily regimen again and get back to my clear, smooth face. Please don't ever discontinue this product (if you do, let me know and I will buy all the existing stock!).

I bought this about 2 weeks ago along with the face wash and souffle and the difference these products have made is amazing. Glycolic acid is one of the best ingredients you can put on your skin for just about any problem you have....and I have a few. Oily, dry, sensitive, acne, wrinkles...you name it. I seen an improvement in my skin texture in only a few days. I got maybe one or two new acne spots after the first few uses and none since. The dryness is gone....my skin actually glows now. You have got to be faithful using this stuff. Don't give up in the first few days if you don't see a huge improvement because that is unrealistic. This stuff isn't magic but it is close to it. Overall a great product and I would (and have) recommend it to anyone seeking skin care with a budget in mind.

I have been having acne issues since i was 13 and im now 23. Nothing ever seem to work for the acne scar. I am usually skeptical about people reviews but I heard that AHA could help and i gave it a try. My goodness! Its only been 2 weeks and i am already seeing great improvements in the texture, tone and the overall health of my face. The price is just right and the quantity is definitely worth the bang for your buck. Don't be scared when you get a burning sensation, thats normal and proof that it is working. Out of all the products i have used to treat my acne marks, this is by far the best and the price is a bonus! This will have your skin looking so young, fresh and alive. You will glow! Im so happy and slowly regaining confidence. i can't wait to see future results.

Watching an episode of "Oprah" on the topic of skin care, I learned that one of the best ingredients of a skin product was alpha hydroxy, which has been clinically proven to renew and nourish skin. I was aware of this product and so decided to try this one as all of the scores of other skin products I've used over the years have either made my face greasy feeling or dry and peeling - I am 50 and have had very dry skin all my life. This product really works! Not only has my dryness virtually disappeared but I believe the texture and firmness of my skin has shown improvement as well as my occasional break-outs (can't believe at my age I still can break out)have ceased and the dark spots that appeared with menopause have also dimished. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and will continue to use it.

This product gave my skin an even tone. I'm African-American, and literally this product gave my skin--especially my face--an overall glow. Simply, a must!

Good AHA lotions (10% AHA, appropriate PH level) can be expensive. This is one of the cheapest (per oz) quality AHA lotions I've found. I like to use it all over the body, so prefer larger sizes (6oz or more). Amalactin is another possible choice, but that one uses an ammonia-based acid that has a very strong smell. This lotion has a very mild smell. I have dry skin and if I use this lotion regularly, I have much softer, less flaky skin. It does take about 2 weeks before I see the full effect. I also am prone to getting minor keratosis pilaris (kp) on my outer upper arms and this lotion also reduces those bumps.

Glycolic Acid is the one ingredient that you want your facial products to have. If you have problem skin such as acne, uneven skin tone, oily skin, dry skin or wrinkles you can count on glycolic acid to fix those problems. I bought this product because glycolic acid was recommended for my skin by my skin care specialist many years ago. I have uneven skin texture, oilyness and acne. I bought some very pricey glycolic acid from her and it did work wonders but the price was way too much for me ($50.00 a jar!). So ever since I have been searching for something similiar and I think I have found it with the "Alpha Hydroxy" line. And who can beat that price?? When I say I searched for similiar products, I am not kidding. I have thrown out and gave away (not to mention stored away) so many products that didn't work it is crazy. One thing you must understand is that you have got to be faithful with this stuff. Don't skimp and don't skip treatments unless you have a skin reaction. First you got to get your pores open and a simple pot of steaming water with a towel wrapped over your head should do the trick. Buy the facial wash and wash your face gently. Slather this souffle on and go to bed. You should feel some tingle and that is good because that means you got some open pores and this souffle is sinking in. If you don't feel the tingle, don't give up on this product! Keep using this every day and you should see some difference in a week or so. I can't believe the difference in my skin in only two weeks. And the amazing part is that I could see a difference in my skin texture within the first few days. The climate here is very dry and my skin was suffering from being too dry also. This product fixed that. AMAZING! My acne along the jawline is also clearing up a little at a time. But it is going away and that is a huge relief because this product is working. The fine lines on my forehead are also slowly disappearing. One more thing about using this product for acne. I was watching a infomercial about a new skin care line that is supposed to be better than ProActive (which I have tried and it didn't work). I wanted to see what the main ingredient was because they did not use benzoyl peroxide. I couldn't believe it when they said glycolic acid was their main ingredient. And here we are getting the same benefits with the "Alpha Hydroxy" line without having to be bothered with orders over the phone, trial memberships and pushing more products that we don't want or need. Glycolic acid can be pricey so to be getting a jar for this price is a bargain. Don't let that cheap price fool you....this stuff works.

Have been using this product for about 5-6 years and absolutely love it! I previously used the 10% cream for a lot of years prior, which was fine, but like the souffle much better. It even zaps my occasional middle age zits. Make sure you use sunscreen with this product if used during the day. It has really improved the look of my normal-oily skin. I use it morning and evening and wouldn't be without it!

Even though this is advertised for fine lines, I use it for acne (because of its high AHA content). It clears skin up within 6 weeks and evens out tone. I'm not wasting my money on anything else now that I know this product is out there, and is very affordable.

I have used this product for years and I love it. if you want glowing skin this is the product you want.

I really like the texture of this product. It's not greasy and it sinks in quickly. I like that it has no added dyes or fragrances. It's also a great price for what you get. However, it's too harsh for my face. I used it for two weeks before giving up. It left my skin very red and irritated. It felt like it was burning. It works well on my feet and elbows, but the skin on my face is just too sensitive. I think I need a product with a lower amount of glycolic acid.

I just started using this and almost immediately saw results.I had been using 10% Alpha hydrox cream for a few weeks and wasnt happy with the initial condition of my skin(I know it gets better later).That cream actually seems to cause hyperpigmentation as it dries out my skin. When I added this,I saw immediate results.As in,I went to bed and awoke to lighter acne scars.Not gone,but I can see it is working. I have used Alpha Hydrox on and off for years and always come back.I did not hesitate to try this as their products have always been effective and economical.Ive tried alot of products over the years,so I know the good and the bad. Im really thrilled that they make this cream and Ive just ordered 3 more. This is only second to Dr.Varons skin bleaching or Mederma.Both of those are more expensive.so Ill stick to this.

Great product - does work in lightening the dark spots on my face. The product does tingle a bit when you first put it on but nothing serious. Thrilled that the spots are getting lighter! Thanks!!

Within a week age spots on face and hands were much lighter. After 3 weeks almost gone. Works great for me.

I just started using this product this weekend and am following the directions -- twice a day. Amazon is requiring me to give a rating so -- out of hopefulness -- I'm giving it 5 stars for now. According to the directions, you are supposed to see results within three months. That seems like a long time to wait but I am desperate to get rid of my brown patches and can't afford to go to the dermatologist right now. I would love to see reviews from other people who have tried this product. What kind of results did you get? Thanks!
